As part of a new development in the bustling Arts District of downtown Los Angeles, ROW, the Produce Court serves as a circulation and relaxation courtyard nestled between two existing warehouse buildings. The space connects a dining and retail pedestrian streetscape with a weekly food market, while providing casual seating platforms embedded within lush planting.
The hardscape design allows plants and trees to bleed into the public space to provide shade and alternate circulation paths. The design serves as a layered visual marker in the center of an exciting new destination.
