Arbor proposes a new way to build in San Jose. At this carbon-zero campus, an elevated arboretum of oak, sycamore, and native plum repopulates the site with habitats that once characterized the Santa Clara Valley.
Viewed from above, this landscape-on-structure appears as one vast patchwork of site-specific plant communities-- Freshwater Marsh, Alkali Meadow, and Chaparral, to name but a few.
